We are always fascinated by the many occurrences that nature produces. This time, a video of several caterpillars traveling in a distinctive configuration has appeared online and, in the opinion of businessman Harsh Goenka, demonstrates the strength of togetherness.
In the video, which the RPG Group Chairman posted on Twitter, several caterpillars can be seen traveling together on a road. The insects repeatedly climb over one another as they move along at a crawling pace, which quickens their movement.
According to the post caption, “It’s a group of caterpillars, moving in a formation known as a rolling swarm. This rolling swarm of caterpillars moves faster than any single caterpillar. Power of unity…”

Not only that @hvgoenka Sir, I have also learnt that it also save the swarm from predators as they look massive, they are not attacked by prey hunting birds who think them to be a bigger adversary.
