An Imam was reciting the qiyam (Taraweeh) prayers when he was amusedly interrupted by a small cat.
During a live Taraweeh broadcast, an Algerian imam was leading a jamaat when he made a cute little feline friend. After being shared on Twitter, a clip from the transmission went viral online and was met with amusing responses.
Internet users adored the tiny cat and praised the Imam for maintaining his composure throughout the ordeal.
The Imam was praying qiyam (Taraweeh) when a stray cat jumped onto his wrist out of nowhere. The Iman maintained his composure and continued the prayers despite the unplanned interruption. Even holding the tiny cat in his arm and petting it, he did so.
The kitten then briefly perched on the Imam’s shoulder and gave him a few cheek kisses before leaping off and running off.

One Twitter user jokingly said, “Cats trying to be Muslims is one of my favorite genres of Cat, because human Muslims are always so incredibly chill with the idea; of course you can join us for prayers, kitty!”
