After nearby neighbours heard unsettling noises, a woman’s crawlspace contained the body of a missing man.
On Monday, police in Aurora, Colorado, made the terrifying discovery.
According to local Fox News outlet KDVR, a Crime Stoppers tip informed authorities that a body was located inside a condo at 2nd Avenue and Sable Boulevard in the municipality in a “clandestine grave.”
The body was then discovered by the Aurora Police Department inside a building’s crawl space.
According to the authorities, the body is thought to belong to a 36-year-old man who had been missing since the summer of 2022.
According to the tip, the unnamed missing man was allegedly murdered six to eight months ago and promptly buried in a crawl space at Red Sky Condos.
Casey Bock, 29, was detained in connection with the alleged murder of the missing man after an APD homicide unit obtained a warrant on Tuesday.
She is accused of being an accessory to murder.
Additionally, a prison inmate who has not been named has been named as a suspect in this investigation but has not yet been placed under arrest, according to police.
The missing man’s body may require a week to be exhumed from the Red Sky Condos’ crawl space, according to APD.
After the deceased’s family has been notified, they will formally announce their name.
Anyone with further details on the case is urged to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
The U.S. Sun is still keeping an eye on how things are going.
Law enforcement is concerned they will find another body for a 6-year-old boy who went missing in November as they discover the body of the missing man.
The search for Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, a young boy with physical and mental disabilities, has now been classified by police as a “death investigation,” as The U.S. Sun previously reported.
“I’m incredibly saddened to share with you today that the search for Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez is now officially a death investigation,” Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer said on Thursday.
“Based on the totality of the circumstances, along with the evidence available to us at this time, it has led to a very unfortunate, unimaginable, and devastating conclusion that Noel is likely deceased.”
