The results of a DNA test that a couple who suspected they could have the same father had conducted to determine if they are half-sisters have been received.
For two years, Ontario, Canada residents Carley and Mercedes have been dating.
And it wasn’t until they spoke with their mothers that they realised they might perhaps be a little closer than they had initially assumed.
It was discovered that they may have bonked the same guy when their mothers revealed details of their previous relationships.
Many of Carley and Mercedes’ one million TikTok followers commented that they resembled “twins,” and it seemed like they might not have been too far off the mark. This worried people.
The OnlyFans models made the brave decision to undergo a DNA test in order to find out if their relationship is truly based on blood rather than just love.
The loved-up couple did not put their relationship on hold, despite the fact that they have been in limbo for five weeks after taking the £246 tests from 23and me.
And now, Carley and Mercedes have shared the outcomes in an exclusive conversation with Daily Star.
“We were quite concerned and the prospect of possibly being linked was frightening,” they said, adding that they attempted to keep themselves occupied.
It seemed simple enough to carry on as usual since we had gone our entire relationship without being aware that this would have been a possibility, but it was constantly on our minds.
Leading up to the test, the pair were riddled with anxiety about the future of their relationship.
But thankfully, they found out they’re not related!
“It’s definitely taken away a lot of stress and anxiety”, the X-rated models candidly shared.
“We’ve finally been able to breathe for the first time in what feels like forever.
“We couldn’t imagine going the rest of our lives without knowing.”
The lovely brunettes held one another in the heartbreaking TikTok video, which has received a staggering 14 million views. They were both happy to discover they did not share any genetic ancestors.
Carley and Mercedes believe that every day should be celebrated as a happy occasion, even though they haven’t done so formally.
They said: “It seems like a festival every day.
We are enjoying every second of being together and have never been happier.
Knowing you potentially share a father, as the cliché goes, makes hearts grow fonder…
