CarFirst has made the decision to stop doing business in Pakistan. Through an official LinkedIn release earlier today, the online vehicle marketplace announced the revelation.
The idea for the business came to Raja Murad Khan in 2016. It was a rival to websites for online buying and selling such as Pakwheels, Vava Cars, the OLX auto area, and a few more.
The company’s official post reads:
CarFirst has decided to shut down operations in Pakistan. We want to thank our team, partners, and most importantly our customers for their continued support throughout our journey. A team will stay in place to handle the entity’s closing and respond to queries from partners and customers throughout the closing period.
The tech-based services sector in Pakistan is experiencing instability as a result of the country’s terrible economic conditions, which have forced a number of players to pack up shop and quit their jobs. CarFirst is not the first company to experience these difficulties in Pakistan.
