Careem announces plans to launch a new women-driven motorbike service in honour of International Women’s Day that will only serve female customers.
Beginning in Karachi, the service will travel to other Pakistani cities. In order to access opportunities for flexible income, Careem encourages registration from women who are interested in working as female captains.
Careem guarantees a monthly payment of Rs. 30,000 for the part-time (5 hours) and Rs. 50,000 for the full-time (10 hours) models of the service. Along with zero percent commission, bonuses, and guarantees, Careem also gives female motorbike captains priority access to its safety and security helpline. Visit the DHA or Gulshan Careem opportunity centre or the Careem Captain Facebook page if you are a woman interested in the service.
Currently, Careem customers are driven by more than 1,700 female Captains across various car types on the platform. The platform Careem recently started rewarding all of its female Captains across all car types with special bonuses, making it more profitable for them to work there.
In a time of rising inflation, Careem’s new women-driven motorbike service gives its sizable female customer base access to affordable, dependable, and safe transportation, especially for those who commute to work or school every day. Additionally, it gives Pakistani women more power and access to flexible income options, allowing them to become Captains and achieve financial stability.
Imran Saleem, General Manager – Ride Hailing at Careem Pakistan, commented on the new service, saying, “Women are an integral part of our society and constitute a significant portion of our overall customer base. Women-driven motorbikes provided by Careem will enable our female customers to break down barriers by providing them with access to reliable, affordable, and safe transportation. Since the economy has been so difficult, it is especially important that families have access to affordable transportation.
The new service helps Careem achieve its goals of making people’s lives easier and better and creating an awesome company that inspires. Additionally, it backs up Careem’s ongoing dedication to empowering women in Pakistan. The organisation enables women to reclaim public spaces and take charge of their own futures by providing female drivers with the resources and tools they need to succeed.
