Callum Ryan, a well-known TikToker, shared his incredible journey from the UK to Dubai for less than $100.
Ryan, who has more than a million followers on social media, wanted to take on a holiday challenge on a tight budget. He started his journey at Milton Keynes’ Luton Airport and arrived in the UAE for a total of £64 ($88).
Ryan first took a Wizz Air flight from Luton Airport to Sofia, Bulgaria, in order to minimize expenses. He paid just £21.99 for his ticket for this leg of the journey. He paid £35.16 to continue his journey from Sofia to Abu Dhabi on the same airline. He rode a bus to Dubai, his final destination.
Ryan departed from Luton Airport on June 2 and traveled to Abu Dhabi via a stopover in Bulgaria. He then boarded a bus that cost £7 ($10) and arrived in Dubai at about 11 PM.
Ryan and his friend split the cost of four nights at the Citymax Hotel Bur Dubai during their time in Dubai, which came to just £21 ($27).
On June 7, Ryan took a different Wizz Air route through Albania on his way back to the UK. His round-trip fare came to £72.85 ($90).
Ryan has previously embarked on inexpensive adventures. He once spent £10 ($13) to visit Spain and spent $10 to see Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
In order to further demonstrate his dedication to minimizing his impact on the environment, Ryan makes sure to offset the emissions from his travels.
