A SOLID-FACED Before his extradition hearing, Bryan Kohberger has been seen for the first time since his arrest as he enters a Pennsylvania courthouse.
According to images obtained by Fox News Digital, the alleged killer was handcuffed from the front as two heavily armed police officers escorted him inside a Monroe County courthouse on Tuesday while he was dressed in a burgundy prison jumpsuit.
The allegations against Kohberger, 28, will be heard in court on Tuesday afternoon, and he is anticipated to waive extradition to Idaho.
Public counsel Jason LaBar for the Ph.D. candidate told ABC News that the student “intends to waive his extradition hearing to speed his transit to Idaho.”
Kohberger “is eager to be cleared of these charges and looks forward to these concerns being resolved as soon as practicable.”
Two of his sisters as well as his parents, who have openly defended their son since his detention, are anticipated to attend the court on Tuesday.
Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were all students at the University of Idaho. Kohberger, who was apprehended on Friday, is accused of killing them all.
A little more than a month after the four students were savagely stabbed to death in their off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, on November 13, he was detained at his parents’ Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, residence on Friday.
“We believe we’ve got our man,” Moscow Police Department Captain Anthony Dahlinger said.
The 28-year-old has since been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary.
