According to reports, a lady was charged with attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend after he peed in their bed in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Fox station KTTV in Los Angeles claimed that on Saturday, deputies from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office attended reports of a stabbing victim at a nearby hospital.
The man was receiving medical attention for a perforated lung and a stabbing wound to the left side of his body.
He informed the police that after he urinated on the bed that they had been sharing for the past 18 months, his girlfriend Briana Lacost, 25, became “very upset.”
The report also mentioned that the victim and Briana were both drunk after the night’s drinking.
The victim informed police that after peeing on the bed, Lacost woke him up and began beating him. Lacost allegedly ran at him with a kitchen knife while he was trying to escape from her.
Lacost said deputies she and her boyfriend intended to split up when investigators spoke with her. She claimed to deputies that she had “pulled him” off the bed because she was angry that her boyfriend had peed on himself. The two got into a fight after that.
Lacost also told deputies that during the altercation, her boyfriend began choking her, and in self-defense, she stabbed him under the left arm. She attempted to provide medical assistance before taking her partner to the hospital.
Lacost was accused of second-degree attempted murder by deputies.
