Big Brother Naija Star Rico Swavey Dead at 28, Cause of Death

Patrick Fakoya, alias Rico Swavey, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija season 3, passed away after being involved in a car accident.

Yesterday, Nigerian celebrities started a fundraising campaign for him in the hopes of raising money for his medical care.

The news was announced on Twitter by Tobi Bakre and Sandra Alexandra, nicknamed Alex Unusual, two of his fellow BBNaija ex-housemates.

This is how I will always remember you, Bakre tweeted. Peace be with you, my brother.

Alex Tweeted: “This was not what we agreed Rico. Rest In Peace #ricoswavey.”
