Due to the heavy rains in the city, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIEK), Karachi, postponed the exams for Thursday, August 18.
The regular and private Arts papers as well as the Science group practicals for the HSC annual examination-2022 have been rescheduled, according to a BIEK statement. These papers have been rescheduled:
- Advance Urdu (Paper-II)
- Arabi (Paper-II)
- Persian (Paper-II)
- Sindhi (Paper -II)
- English (Paper-II)
- Mathematics (Paper-II)
- Special Students (Computer Science Paper-I)

According to a board official, the postponed exams will now be held on August 25 (Thursday) at the same testing locations and times.
The board, however, has instructed the colleges to reschedule the practical tests in accordance with the new dates.
Several districts of Karachi had heavy rain this afternoon, and residents should be aware that additional rain is expected in the port city through August 19.
