A bare-breasted lady who was caught masturbating in front of Waitrose has evaded being imprisoned.
Businesswoman Beverley Dean, 54, was stressed out when she decided to have some fun on a bench in the open on February 25, according to evidence presented in court in Chester.
Before police arrived and discovered sex toys in her luggage, Dean made herself at home in front of a Waitrose in Northwich, Cheshire, where her breasts were on display for anyone walking by.
The divorcee with no prior convictions originally refuted every accusation, but after finally pleading guilty, she was sentenced to a £200 fine for public obscenity.
When describing Dean’s obscene conduct to the court, prosecutor Miss Shannen Carey said: “After putting her fingers in her mouth, the defendant is seen putting them between her knees. She seemed to be making out.
“She appeared to be filming or photographing herself while doing the act with her phone in her right hand. She took a break to light up a cigarette, proceeded to suck on her fingers, and then put them in between her legs.”
Added Mis Carey “After doing this, she got off the bench and stood up, showing both breasts. Her coat was dangling off her shoulders, and her blouse was unbuttoned.
The defendant was taken into custody after officers were called. When her property was searched, the defendant’s bag included a variety of sex toys and lubricants.
According to her defence attorney, Mr. Shane O’Neill, embarrassed Dean struggled to understand her acts, much less talk about them. He claimed the 54-year-old is “horrified by what she did.”
“She had a business with her spouse that failed,” he stated. The relationship suffered as a result of the pressure this put on it. Nevertheless, they remain close friends.
