The numerous tactics of APPLE’s new iPhones make it challenging to comprehend them all at once.
Here are three outstanding iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro features that you might have missed at this week’s Apple event.
Action Mode
Although it rarely receives notice, iPhone video has advanced significantly in recent years.
Apple has since unveiled Action Mode, another significant development.
This enables you to record “extremely smooth” video when running, strolling, or being transported down a rough road.
Crash Detection
Another feature coming to the full lineup, including the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, is crash detection.
It operates by determining whether you are involved in a serious car accident using the sensors in your iPhone and GPS.
And if you’re unconscious and unable to access your iPhone, it will immediately call emergency personnel.
To ensure that the functionality operates as intended, Apple claimed to have tested it on a sizable dataset of crashes.
It’s not for small bumps – so it shouldn’t activate during a low-speed collision in a car park, for instance.
“It was designed for severe, life-threatening, high-impact front and rear, side-swipe, T-bone and rollover crashes,” Apple explains.
It could be a real life-saver, though hopefully you’ll never need to see it in action.
