After months of rumours, Chelsea star Ben Chilwell and Australian beauty Cartia Mallan have made their Instagram relationship public.
In the past three months, there have been several sightings of Chilwell, 26, and Mallan, 24, together. But until yesterday, neither had publicly acknowledged their relationship on social media as rumours circulated (February 14).
As they were hugging, Mallan published a photo of Chilwell kissing her on the cheek on her Instagram story. She also shared a photo of a massive bouquet of pink and red roses, which she likely received for Valentine’s Day from the Blues left-back.
The Brisbane-born brunette babe relocated to London last year. In addition to updating her 520k Instagram followers on her whereabouts, she also uploads videos to YouTube for her 485k subscribers.
It’s unclear exactly when she first connected with Chilwell, but she was spotted going to his house in Leicester in October and supporting him later that month when Chelsea drew 1-1 with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Following that, they spent a week together in Dubai while Chilwell missed the World Cup due to an injury. Mallan was wearing a blouse that Chilwell had previously been seen wearing when they were photographed together in a nightclub.
Their interaction now appears to have developed into a full-fledged romance. Chiwell also follows Mallan’s mother, Kylie, on Instagram, so it must be a serious situation.
Holly Scarfone, an ex-girlfriend and reality TV star, and he only ended their relationship last summer. In June, the couple was seen holding hands at a well-liked Los Angeles eatery.
While Chilwell isn’t the only sports celebrity Mallan has dated, he has also been associated to Camila Kendra, Lewis Hamilton’s ex-girlfriend. Bailey Smith, a star in Australian Rules Football, was close to her.
