Banks to Observe Normal Working Day on 24 June

All bank offices that are open on Saturday will operate according to regular business hours on June 24 (Saturday), according to a statement from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

According to a circular from the central bank, all branches of banks that are open on Saturday will maintain regular business hours until 5:30 pm on June 24 in order to facilitate the collection of taxes through ADC’s Over-the-Counter (OTC) facility. This decision was made in response to a request from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Additionally, the circular stated that all banks have been urged to make sure that their online payment facilities, such as internet banking, mobile apps, ATMs, etc. are available round-the-clock, 24/7.
