Sazgar BAIC has announced a significant rise in the price of the BAIC BJ40 Plus in Pakistan beginning on March 8, 2023, for all new orders and reservations. All SUVs, CUVs, and automobiles with engines of 1400 cc or more are now subject to a 25% General Sales Tax (GST), which has caused a price increase.
Sazgar BAIC isn’t the only business to raise pricing, though; Toyota Pakistan has also done so for several of its best-selling models. Everyone else in the automotive industry who sells a car that fits into one of the aforementioned categories will follow suit.
BJ40 Plus Price in Pakistan
Details indicate that the cost of the BJ40 Plus has increased from Rs. 10,585,000 to Rs. 11,225,000, an increase of Rs. 640,000. The new price is effective immediately.
It is crucial to highlight that Sazgar BAIC also raised pricing of the BJ40 Plus in Pakistan on last month after the Federal Government enhanced GST from 17% to 18% and this is the second hike because of the same reason.
