The complete list of nominees for THE Bafta Games Awards 2023, which honour the best games of the previous year and the creators of those games, was just released.
With 15 nominations, including the public vote-winning EE Game of the Year and six nominations for performances, God of War Ragnarök is at the top of the list.
Independent cat game Stray’s nine nominations, which put it ahead of Elden Ring, the biggest game of the previous year, are a pleasant surprise.
Horizon Forbidden West from Sony was nominated for six awards.
Before the announcement, GLHF spoke with Jane Millichip, the newly appointed CEO of Bafta, and Tara Saunders, chair of the Bafta Games Committee.
The Queen Elizabeth Hall in London will play host to the Bafta Games Awards 2023 ceremony on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
