Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, posted a picture on social media to show his followers and fans where his Hajj journey had started. At the Masjid an-Nabawi in Madina, Saudi Arabia is where the photograph of Babar and his teammates Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed was taken. After entering the nation, they are seen taking in the spiritual atmosphere.
Babar Azam’s Instagram post was captioned with a touching couplet in honor of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The couplet implies that when someone sees the green dome, their life will take a different turn. Babar, Rizwan, and Ahmed can be seen in the picture standing on the grounds of the mosque with the Dome of the Prophet (PBUH) in the background while dressed in traditional shalwar kameez and thobes.
Before beginning their Hajj pilgrimages, Babar and Rizwan both took part in the executive education program on the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS) at the Harvard Business School. According to earlier reports, Babar Azam would be participating in the Hajj this year and would be joining many other Pakistanis who were also making the pilgrimage.
