On June 29, the Asus ZenFone 10 is expected to go on sale. It is confirmed that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm. It will be released as the Asus Zenfone 9’s replacement, which debuted in July 2022. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset powers the Zenfone 9, which is also fueled by a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The upcoming Zenfone 10 is expected to have some key specifications, according to previous leaks and reports. The handset’s design renderings have leaked ahead of its launch.
A series of pictures purporting to be design renders of the upcoming Asus Zenfone 10 were uploaded by tipper Evan Blass (@evleaks). Five color options are available for the phone: black, grey-blue, moss green, red, and white. The phone is distinguished by its thin side bezels and speaker grille, which is positioned above the display. The top left corner of the front panel seems to have a punch hole available for the front camera. On the right side of the phone, you can see the power button and the volume rockers.
On the back, two large, distinct circular modules that are vertically arranged and slightly elevated are home to the dual camera units. A small LED flash unit is situated next to them. These are located in the back panel’s upper left corner. Below the camera modules, the words “Asus Zenfone” are written vertically. The model appears to have the small Asus logo in the bottom right corner.
Prior to the launch, Asus set up a test website to gather user feedback on camera functionality, and in the terms and conditions section of the page, it accidentally revealed the price of the Asus Zenfone 10. The model is anticipated to start at $749. For comparison, the 8GB + 128GB model of the Asus ZenFone 9 had a launch price of EUR 799.
The upcoming device, which will support dual nano SIM cards, is anticipated to have a 5.9-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and run ASUS ZenUI 10 on top of Android 13. A 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with an Adreno GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage are confirmed to power the device.
The Zenfone 10’s dual rear camera unit is anticipated to have an ultra-wide-angle lens and a primary rear camera sensor with a resolution of 200 megapixels. It is anticipated that the camera will ship with optical image stabilization (OIS) and support for 8K video recording. Additionally, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support is anticipated. The manufacturer has confirmed that wireless charging will be supported on the phone.
