After being released by physicians, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari was moved from a neighbourhood hospital to Bilawal House in the city, according to sources on Sunday.
In Karachi’s Clifton neighbourhood, a private hospital was treating Zardari for an infection in one of his lungs. After his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to the hospital on September 27.
Recently, false information about the co-chairman of the PPP and former president’s health was circulated.
Dr. Asim Hussain, Zardari’s personal doctor, refuted on Friday the claims that the PPP leader’s “health condition is deteriorating” that have been making the rounds on various social media platforms.
Speaking to Geo News, Hussain claimed that all of these rumours were untrue because his patient was doing well and would soon be released home.
Senator Sherry Rehman, the minister for climate change, had already claimed that a “x-ray” being around on social media was not the former president’s.
