Asian Champions Trophy 2023: PHF Announces Training Camp Comprising 45 Players

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced a 45-player national training camp as part of its preparations for the upcoming Asian Champions Trophy.

The goal of the camp is to choose and train the national players, and the federation has also announced the new senior hockey team management.

Olympic athletes Rehan Butt and Muhammad Saqlain have been added to the coaching staff, and Colonel (R) Omar Sabir has been named manager of the senior team.

This choice was made in a high-level meeting with other officials, which was presided over by Olympian Kaleemullah Khan, the Chairman of the Selection Committee.

On June 12 at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore, the national training camp will get underway under the sponsorship of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.

As part of the preparations for the Asian Champions Trophy, which is set to take place from August 3 to August 12 in Chandigarh, India, this camp is extremely important.
