In the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan and India have advanced to the Super Four round after placing first and second, respectively, in Group A.
The Men in Green defeated Nepal by a comfortable margin of 238 runs in their first game, while the match against India was abandoned due to Kandy’s persistent rain.
The Rohit Sharma-led team, on the other hand, earned three points from their games during the group stage after defeating Nepal by 10 wickets.
The venue for the rematch between the two close neighbors, which is scheduled for September 10, has not yet been determined. The match was originally scheduled to take place in Colombo, but the location may change due to the city’s poor weather outlook. The game is probably going to happen in Hambantota.
The Super Four stage will see each team play three games, with two teams from Group B, which includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, still to be determined.
As of right now, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka each have one victory. The former will face Afghanistan today at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
