A traffic strategy for the Asia Cup 2023 matches in the capital city of Punjab has also been released by Lahore City Traffic Police (CTP).
The Sunfort Hotel, Liberty Parking Area, and Government College for Boys are the locations where spectators can park, per the update. Mall Road, Jail Road, and Canal Road traffic will flow normally throughout the matches.
In addition, regular traffic patterns will be maintained on Main Boulevard Gulberg and Ferozpur Road. Especially during the VIP movements, disruptions may be seen near Kalma Chowk, MM Alam Road, and other roads leading up to and around Gaddafi Stadium.
According to the department, 1,000 traffic wardens will make sure that everyone is safe and comfortable. Twenty lifters have been placed on the roads by the department to prevent improper parking. The department promised to only temporarily close roads to VIP traffic.
Authorities have been urged to provide courteous and effective assistance to the public. To maintain order in the city, they have also pleaded with the populace to assist the authorities.
