With their amazing accomplishments, Pakistan’s mountaineering community has been inspiring pride in the country. Another well-known mountaineer from Pakistan, Sajid Sadpara, recently made history by ascending Mount Everest without using any additional oxygen.
Sajid became the first Pakistani to conquer Mount Everest without the aid of Sherpas, who are expert climbers, despite their absence from his expedition.
Sajid’s ultimate goal is to ascend all 14 eight-thousanders, or mountains higher than 8,000 meters, unaided. He is honoring his late father, Muhammad Ali Sadpara, a renowned mountaineer, by accomplishing this feat.
