The tech giant Apple has unveiled a new set of AirPods that it says have the “longest battery life ever.”
On Wednesday, Apple held an event called “Far Out” where the second-generation Pro in-ear buds were presented.
According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, they promise to give a “excellent” audio experience.
Improved noise cancellation, which may block up to twice as much noise as the original AirPods Pro, is one of the new features.
Another advancement is “spatial audio,” which gives users the impression that they are completely submerged in the audio.
The new AirPods Pro offer six hours of listening time on a single charge, which is a 33 percent improvement in battery life.
The AirPods offer up to 30 hours of listening time with the charging case (an increase of six hours).
In order to allow for more comfortable fittings, Apple’s new AirPods will also come with more tips, including an additional tiny tip.
For added convenience, users may control the volume by swiping up and down while playing or pausing media directly from their AirPods.
The AirPods
When Apple first introduced the AirPods in 2016, some users compared the original model to an electric toothbrush.
But both teenagers and adults now consider the AirPods to be a cultural icon.
Since then, Apple has released various iterations of the AirPods, including a Pro version.
And although though they each have unique qualities, all of them have a stem on each bud.
