Along with the new MacBook Air, the company is anticipated to release, among other things, watchOS 10, macOS 14, and iOS 17.
In a recent Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman reaffirmed his earlier claims that Apple would introduce the 15-inch MacBook Air on June 5 at WWDC 2023. Additionally, the company is reportedly testing the macOS 14, which is anticipated to be unveiled at the WWDC event along with other new software.
The launch of the AR/VR headset, which Apple has reportedly been working on for a while, is one of the most anticipated announcements of the event. According to reports, Apple is also planning to introduce a number of additional laptops at the event, including an upgraded 13-inch MacBook Air, a 13-inch MacBook Pro that starts at the entry-level, and an updated 24-inch iMac. This year’s WWDC is also anticipated to see the introduction of the first Mac Pro to feature Apple’s own chipsets and updated high-end MacBook Pro models.
The release of iOS 17, which is likely to coincide with the iPhone 15 series launch later this year, is another significant launch anticipated at the event. The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are the four models that make up the lineup of the upcoming flagship series of smartphones.
