The Euphoria star appeared to be in good spirits at an album release party for the rap group MacArthur Maze in the Bay Area just three days before it was reported that Angus Cloud had died from an apparent overdose.
The local album release party was attended by the 25-year-old actor on Friday. He appeared to be enjoying himself and was interacting with several other people. Although Cloud cannot be heard speaking in the video clips, they do show him to be in good spirits.
A source claims that party attendees witnessed Cloud’s presence for a few hours. The actor reportedly didn’t exhibit any overt signs of angst or discomfort while he was at the party. An unnamed friend of his claimed that Angus was content to be back in his own home. He had just returned from Ireland following the funeral of his father.
The friend claims that Angus told him he was depressed. He was discovered unresponsive at his family’s Oakland home less than 72 hours later. According to Cloud’s family, the star was having a hard time adjusting to the loss of his father and had taken it particularly hard.
Although the exact cause of Cloud’s passing has not yet been determined, his family believes that he may have committed suicide. His death may have been brought on by an overdose, according to the police.
From his close family members, TMZ learned that Cloud was contemplating suicide before he passed away. After playing the lead in “Euphoria,” Cloud shot to fame as a potential Hollywood star.
