An inquest heard that the guy who is thought to have firebombed a migrant centre in Dover passed away from asphyxiation.
On October 30, Andrew Leak of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, tossed two to three handmade incendiary explosives at the Western Jet Foil immigration centre in Dover, Kent.
Eight minutes after the attack, the 66-year-old was discovered dead in the parking lot of a local BP gas station.
This morning, coroner Bina Patel launched an inquest into his passing at Maidstone’s County Hall.
She said yes. On October 30, Kent Police were called to Western Jet Foil at 11.22 a.m. Leak was discovered dead at the gas station on Limekiln Road at 11.30 a.m. At 11.48 a.m., paramedics declared his deceased.
Leak, a single unemployed man, was discovered sitting in the driver’s seat of his white Seat vehicle.
The inquest was postponed until a tentative date of January 27 of the following year.
The investigation was taken over by counterterrorism police last Tuesday, and the incident was formally classified as a terror attack on Saturday after initially being dismissed as a terrorist incident by Kent Police and the Home Office.
Posts on a now-deleted Facebook page with the username Andy Leak from High Wycombe contain anti-Muslim attitudes and gripes about those who apply for assistance even though they cannot speak English.
“Unemployment benefits clearly state you cannot claim benefits if not looking for work, all of these people should be excluded from benefits. “You can clearly not look for work if you cannot read English or speak English, they are breaking the law, time to stand up.”
Another post, on July 24, said: “All Muslims are guilty of grooming, they never spoke out because it wasn’t their daughters, f****** animals wake up.
“They only rape non-Muslims that’s a religious hate crime are you f****** stupid.”
When the event occurred on October 30, two centre employees suffered only minor wounds after calling the police at 11.22 a.m.
700 individuals were then sent to the Manston asylum processing centre in Ramsgate for security reasons.
