The collision between their car and a truck in the Scottish highlands earlier this month resulted in the deaths of three American visitors from Illinois, according to authorities.
The accident happened on a road south of Newtonmore on August 10.
The three have been identified as Kathryn Bastion-Strong, 46; Jared Bastion, 45; and Mary-Lou Mauch, 75.
The truck driver, an unidentified 59-year-old man, was not injured in the crash, the Daily Mail reported.
