CARBOILER After a horrific hit-and-run accident while riding on her boyfriend’s motorcycle, Alana Paiva passed away.
The fitness celebrity allegedly died in the hospital from her injuries after the minibus driver crashed into her and left.
Local reports state that Paiva was riding on her boyfriend’s bike when the incident occurred on October 12.
She passed away 10 days later after being brought to the hospital and placed in an artificial coma.
The bike’s handlebars came off after the minibus allegedly turned into the intersection illegally and crashed with the couple head-on.
After the bus driver allegedly departed the scene, her boyfriend Uilblim, 43, appeared to be conscious and able to speak with emergency officials.
But, the father of one and police officer passed away in a hospital a few hours after the horrific incident.
He leaves behind an eight-year-old daughter.
Alana, who had over 5,000 followers on Instagram, used to post about bodybuilding and fitness contests.
In one of her posts, she described bodybuilding as a “wonderful sport, which is not just about winning, but about maintaining discipline every day to surpass yourself each time you step on the stage”.
