Air New Zealand has reclaimed the title of the best airline in the world.
In the 2023 rankings released by the website for product and safety ratings, the national carrier reclaims the top spot previously held by Qatar Airways. Since 2013, Air NZ has now won the prize for best airline seven times.
Twelve crucial variables, including the fleet’s age, customer satisfaction, profitability, investment grade, product options, and employee relations, are taken into account by the judges. Qatar was followed in order of performance by Etihad Airways, Korean Air, and Singapore Airlines. This wasn’t Air NZ’s only distinction; they also took home the award for best economy class.
Foran stated that the 12,000 Air New Zealand employees who get up every morning to connect Kiwis with one another and the rest of the world are responsible for the company’s success.“
They deserve this award for their perseverance, dedication, and the exceptional service they provide each and every day. It is evidence that we have regained our swing and that our unwavering commitment to executing our Kia Mau strategy with accuracy and zeal is paying off.
