The family of a missing 21-year-old woman from Auckland has expressed gratitude to the public for helping find their “caring” daughter.
Early on September 30, 21-year-old Aimee-Jane Smith vanished from her St Heliers home.
She had been reported missing from St Luke’s Mall on September 28 and had since gone missing twice in a week.
The following day, she was located by authorities before going missing once more.
Family, friends, neighbours, and the police continued their search for Smith in Auckland on Monday.
“We look forward to being with her very soon – Aimee is loved by many and her friends, family and community are doing everything we can to help and search.”
He claimed that the investigation was still underway and that his daughter had not made any social media contacts since going missing.

From Bombay up to Muriwai, searchers had combed the entire city, paying particular attention to West Coast beaches and public parks.
According to a police spokesperson, authorities are still asking for the public’s assistance in locating Smith.
