Sameen Rana, COO of Lahore Qalandars, denied comments made by former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi about Shaheen Shah Afridi’s health.
Sameen has stepped forward to dispel these misconceptions and reassure Shaheen’s admirers and supporters that she is in good health.
Rana remarked that we have been attentively monitoring Afridi’s health and are pleased with his present condition.
“After each match, word spreads that Shaheen is ill. Shaheen is OK, and if he isn’t, we’ll be the first to rest him,” he explained.
Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi previously disclosed that Lahore Qalandars skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi played the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight Qualifier versus Multan Sultans despite having a fever.
“Shaheen has had a fever for a few of days, and he also played yesterday’s match with a temperature,” Shahid explained.
“If you have a fever, I don’t think you should play, but he [Shaheen] wanted to win the match and then relax until the final,” he continued.
The final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight will be played today at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore between the Shaheen-led Lahore Qalandars and the Multan Sultans.
