Afghan bowler Farid Malik, who was nasty to Pakistani batsman Asif Ali during the T20 Asia Cup 2022 match, has now officially apologised to Ali.
On Tuesday, Pakistan and Afghanistan played a match. Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by one wicket. However, a fight broke out during the game when Farid Malik acted inappropriately toward Asif Ali after taking his wicket.
Farid Malik took to his official Twitter account to apologise to the cricketer for his impolite behaviour and to the Pakistani batsman.

Farid believes that although what he did was wrong, he has always supported team Pakistan and will continue to do so. He continued by saying that he hoped Pakistanis would pardon him for his improper and impolite behaviour.
