A FATHER of four who supposedly vanished during a family camping trip has been discovered dead not far from the location of his tent.
On August 23, Pennsylvania State Police said that they had found Adrien Hachey, 43, of New Jersey’s body in a small body of water.
According to NJ1015.com, Hachey was camping in Pennsylvania’s Luzerne County with his four sons, girlfriend, and her three kids.
On August 21, when the family awoke and couldn’t find him, they filed a missing person’s report.
Soon after, a search was launched with the assistance of law enforcement officers, responders from Hazle Township Fire and Rescue, neighbourhood dive teams, and Northeast Search and Rescue.
The day after Adrien Hachey vanished, his body was discovered at a camp site in Hazle Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, according to a police statement acquired by People.
There were both land-based and water-based search and rescue activities involved in the search.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Anthony Petroski III of NJ1015.com, Hachey’s death was not considered suspicious in any way.
Petroski stated that the inquiry is still ongoing.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends during this difficult time,” police told People.
For assistance with educational costs, a GoFundMe has been established for Hachey’s four kids, who range in age from nine to sixteen.
As of August 31st, more than $33,000 had been raised.
According to an obituary on Legacy.com, Hachey, a union mason, “enjoyed camping, motor-sports, and spending time with his family.”
