In order to make Karachi Port a top hub for transshipment and cargo, Abu Dhabi Ports Group and Karachi Port Trust have signed a contract to build cutting-edge infrastructure there.
The collaboration aims to increase Karachi Port’s global trade significance by utilizing the UAE’s expertise and connections with shipping lines, which is Pakistan’s third-largest trading partner. The partnership will promote long-term development, and trade diversification, and improve bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
The collaborative effort aims to conduct feasibility studies, increase port projects through digitalization, and draw in foreign investment. The partnership is anticipated to open up growth prospects and establish Karachi Port as a premier maritime hub, meeting the changing needs of international trade.
