In order to draw more attention to the ongoing investigation, Aaron Carter’s mother posted fresh images of the scene discovered in her late son’s bathroom.
The bathroom’s graphic images, which included what appeared to be faeces on the floor and a tub filled with green water, were posted by Jane Carter. She noted that the photos weren’t taken by law enforcement.
“Still trying to get a real investigation for the death of my son Aaron Carter,” she wrote on Facebook, adding that she believes the coroner wrote off her son’s cause of death “as an accidental overdose.”
“They never investigated it as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past.”
In addition, Jane provided images of towels spread out on the ground and a heap of filthy clothing, and she added that the pictures weren’t taken by police.
“But they allowed people to go in and out.although a lot of potential homicide information was there for years,” she continued. “Aaron had a lot of death threats and many many people who were making his life miserable.”
Jane claimed that her closest family and friends encouraged her to post the graphic images because law enforcement hasn’t “taken them seriously,” particularly in Lancaster, California, the location of the “Aaron’s Party” singer’s death.
“Because of my son’s mental illness and prescription drug issues they just wanted it to be something easy that they didn’t have the time or inclination to address,” she continued.
“This won’t work for me or Melanie [Martin],” she said of Aaron’s on-again, off-again fiancée, “or anyone who truly loved him. We want answers. We want justice. There are people who must be held accountable.”
Jane is hoping legal commenter Nancy Grace agrees to look into their case but knows she’s “busy with Murdaugh trial but it’s almost over now.”
Early in November, the “I Want Candy” singer was discovered dead at his home, surrounded by bottles of prescription medication and compressed air cans. He was 34.
Aaron had no water in his lungs, so the coroner ruled out drowning as the cause of death.
Martin later revealed to TMZ that she and Jane believe Aaron may have consumed a drug that was provided to him by a dealer who texted Aaron to demand payment for “an unknown substance” totaling $800.
Aaron allegedly claimed to “no longer need the substance” to the unnamed person, but the contact insisted Aaron still had to make a payment. Aaron reportedly asked if he was “being threatened” in the final message in the chain.
Martin and Jane concluded from the conversation that Aaron did meet the potential drug dealer and “took a substance that might have ultimately killed him.”
