Aamir Ashraf Khawaja, a BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed Secretary Cabinet Division by the Federal Government (PAS).
Aamir Khawaja, who is currently the Secretary Federal Education and Professional Training Division, has been transferred and posted as Secretary Cabinet Division, according to an official notification issued by the Establishment Division.
Aamir Khawaja has also been given the additional charge of Secretary Federal Education and Professional Training Division for three months, or until a regular office holder is posted.
Aamir Ashraf Khawaja obtained a BS in Civil Engineering from UET Lahore in 1986. He has nearly three decades of diverse civil service experience.
Throughout his career, he has held a number of important positions. Aamir has held positions such as Director General (DG) of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), National Coordinator at the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), and Secretary of the Punjab Tourism Department, to name a few.
Aamir has also collaborated on various projects with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and World Food Program (WFP).
